Hey There Guys,
The Leviathan Movement needs some help at the moment, as im sure you are all aware, the org chat and events have drastically gone down in the past few months due to several things happening at once.. (people leaving game, leaving org, basic breakdown of communications etc). this needs to be remedied.
We need ideas, As not just one person can run an org, its all about team work. Otherwise we will fall into a silent darkness where selfishness consumes the members (i know i have been selfish on occasion, but theres the proof ). Many orgs i have seen go silent because of this. We cant let this happen to TLM, we need to be active, helping your fellow man, each and every one of them. so! to cure this problem. we need events!.
TLM members need to know that you need help , these forums need to be used to convey what you need... and events need to be planned for the fun factor as well. Our time zones vary so the forums can keep us all keep in contact with each other and then we can plan in accordance to what we want to do.
So now onto the events: I'm hoping to get quite alot of interest here. so we can vote on what needs to be done PVP information is going to be introduced i hope as more and more people are getting into it, such as towers, BS, Tarasque etc. but remember at the moment this is just theory and the vote wins out. Nothing is set in stone here
The Events so Far:
AI raids:
full ai raids needs to be done for all titles. we all need our axp and those lovely viral bots to keep us going, full ai raids are flat rolled (depending on who needs the items), regardless of the cru provider, as CRU is not that expensive anymore both the ground and admiral gen's are flatrolled , Times and dates need to be suggested for these raids to keep everyone happy, so lets make some!. (i know this sounds hypocritical, but less farm raids need to be done.)
Merc's, Hollow Island, Biodome etc:
big raids like this need to be setup or pre-empted for future toons, again, suggestions for times and dates will have to be posted on the forums we have the man-power, just not the organisation at the moment, so gimme opinions on it please!
Garden Keys, Quests/items etc:
all of us have experience with quests in the game, and if posted on the forums generally you will get a better reply than org chat, it is thought through and then help can be provided VIA toons in the org again.. opinions on how this can be perfected are greatly appreciated :D .
PVP:
The most important subject at the moment is PVP, we have a fair amount of people interested in pvp, but not all of us interested are greatly experienced with it, we need a opinion on Towers, on whether you guys wish to have towers, Attack/Defend them, this is because TLM may need a new angle, as pvp is getting more and more involved in the game. this does not mean we are turning into a pvp org, hence why i need your opinions on it (i know i say that alot ).
Alot of People Need BS, Maybe Times and dates can be set up for TLM teams to enter into the BS and wtfpwn clanners for your VP's! or to lucrate a better name for yourself if you think you are done with PVM (again, our madame president knows alot of PVP based orgs for you if you wish to be mainly pvp).
Tarasque can be alot of fun if your with people you know and sometimes some you dont , TLM teams can be set up there also if you wish it, just choose the day/hour, and be 150+ and have your fun there opinions opinions!.
What ive come up with here is only a small part of whats possible. we are a good org, but we could be so much better. and i knwo most of you know this already, but we need a ckick up the arse!
so do TLM Proud please guys, cause in the words of those crazy retro english pictures "We Need You!"

I suppose this is a good time to explain to everyone why I removed my advy from TLM the other day.
I have been feeling lately, for a variety of reasons, exactly what Jay has said. The org has lost it's spark and people are becoming bored so they are leaving for other orgs. I understand that people's focuses change, and they sometimes need new surroundings. That being said, I want you all to know that my advy is now a member of Dark Front. I want to learn to PvP and I felt I needed to immerse this toon in a PvP org. I am in NO WAY abandoning TLM. I helped build TLM from the ground up when we were all a bunch of froobs standing outside RBB. I have invested a lot of time and credits into this org, and I love it. My shade is back to president, and my advy is in guest chat. I sincerely hope that you will all call upon me when I am needed. Honestly, I play this game for you guys...because I love being around you and spending my time with you. I have met any number of fantastic people from being a member and president of TLM, and I am not about to give that up. My hope is that I can gain a really good foundation on tl7 PvP and tower wars so I can lead TLM when the times comes. I am not saying that I want TLM to be a PvP org. I am not saying that at all. But I do want those who are interested in PvP to feel comfortable participating if they choose. I know, as someone who has a few tl7 toons, PvM can become tedious at times unless I am helping one of you. I needed something to fill my time in the game I love.
Please, if any of you have any concerns about any of this, come talk to me. There has been a lack of communication lately in this org, and I don't want TLM to die. I love it, and I love all of you.

hehe im not good on these whole speach things  so il make my short hehe.
i totaly agree with Jay because im online, pretty much 24/7 and i have seen a huge change in the org channel, and sometimes it makes me feel kinda lonely being in TLM. i just hope that we can get some kind of org activities goin so it brings people back.
i like to pvp, but im not good at it, or have a toon that is good at it, so sometimes its kinda hard to enjoy it, i like what Jay said about BS teams, or tara teams, that might make it a little bit more fun, doing what i love with the people that i love.

I know i've been missing a lot the last few weeks, had a lot of irl stuff to sort out and yes i had been playing another online game but AO is definately better. You'll be seeing more of me now.
Since i live in Australia most people in levy are on the opposite end of the timezone but at least theres always people in the bot 
I remembered what Ali said about pvp/towers when i first joined and i really dont enjoy it but can be fun once in a while. I am currently a guest in Shadow Ops with some of my toons and this is a major towers org. While i dont help in the front lines so my org info doesnt come up (lol i dont wanna be a Jay  ) i normally sit in omni trade with my mp buffing people doing my part.
I dont know yet if i wanna do towers, i would help the org if they did but it wouldnt be my first choice of fun. I thought maybe we could do towers without actually having towers ourselves, i dont know much about tower battles. Joining friends and helping them should be ok. I think if we planted towers and they were say attacked on the time when the people that dont wanna do pvp were on and no one else, this would be a conflict of interest.
I suggested a while ago we could always form a spinoff levy just for towers.
Sorry for the length but just wanted you lot to know my views.

well. i wanna stay in TLM, so no spin off org for me  , defense + Offense is an idea.. since we dont have towers. but then again theres the factor of TLM's name being up in lights for all to see.

I don't think there needs to be a spin-off org either. Like I said, I will never make towers mandatory for anyone, and just because other people in the org are doing them, doesn't mean you have to, Andrea. You will never be required to participate in any activities you don't like.

I know I've been away for a month or so and I'm finding it real hard to comeback as I'm laggin like hell atm. I did a mish the other day and it went something like this. Kill Lag - relog - repeat :(
I love AO and want to get back into it esp as I have alot of unfinished business with AO.
As for Events as long as you dont mind someone who has extremely limited team experience and is not PVP based and sutible for a 120 ish toon then I'm game ;)

I have also been caught up with real life stuff, moving to the UK and a new job so I haven't been on as much as I used to be able too or as much as I would like.

and next weak i really gonna need TLM's help:) goes im 200 now, with no ai lvls. no knowledge of sl and need to do alot of quest to go to pen

I'd be happy to help anyone with anything, as long as it is within my power. One of the few things I can do is help people now that I am around again. Even if all you need is a filler character for something :P
I wouldn't mind spending time and credits on doing some ai raids, 160+ since im 220 :S the only problem I have ever had with trying to do them is having a doc for the raid, I am not that great tank and can't heal everyone else when being attacked :(
I don't know anything about the new DB and instance and stuff, all that new stuff, don't know if I will bother with it all or not, but other things I can surely lend my time towards, even the basic stuff like pen/inf mishes to help people level.
Well tbh, I guess its just that I dont have much to do besides grind out my last ~7.3m axp, so I expect you guys to keep me busy ^^

Well, I'm pretty new to the org and my main is a tl5 MA.
However I try to be as helpful as I can, which most of the time
means logging toons and lending items for twinking orgm8s.
If you are doing something that I can help with I'll do my best to try.
Sadly atm pretty much all of my focus is on twinking my tl5 ma for pvp.
As far as PvP goes I'm no expert and still learning alot about it,
but I think it is certainly a fun option to have.
BS can be quite fun though my main experience with it is at tl5
and a small amount of tl2.
On towers I have no experience and I don't feel we would be
ready to do our own towers just yet, though I don't see any issue
with helping other orgs on their tower battles. Support our fellow
omni and all (it does affect our side xp after all right :?).
As for Tara, until I get on a connection better than the one I'm
currently on (dial-up) I think I'm going to have to pass on it,
though I'm on the lookout for D-chest and GoC with my current
31 points I won't be winning bids anytime soon anyway.
TARA IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF CONNECTION!!!
(is that supposed to be feint? or w/e)
If anyone finds out about upgrades to the living dragon armor
please let me know ;) .
As a side on the org event/pvp issue. It could be fun to randomly make
ultra-lowbie toons for pvping each other.
I.E. a bunch of lvl 1's/5's etc on rk or some lvl 9's on newb isle.
highly diposable toons for those worried about filling slots on your account.
Or if we have the interest in it we could try for some more permanent ones with a higher degree of twinking.
(If you hadn't guessed I really like character creation, Esp could prolly be a 220/30 I stopped rerolling him)
And this is why I have low post counts everywhere...
It pretty much all goes into one post eh-heh. |

Well the idea about towers and PvP excites me
If it was decided that we would start attacking towers, and owning towers (and owning a tower field  ) I can help people with the whole PvP/Towers thing. Iv had some experience, I used to be in Black Ops, which was a huge PvP org (the prez had 50+twinks) and Iv just been doing them for awhile. Im constantly building twinks, and can help people with things of that nature. I also have been defending towers alot on my enf, even though I cant attack.
SO
If anyone needs any help with lowbie twinks (100ish and lower) or learning how to do towers when the time comes (if the time comes)
As far as more raids and stuff thats all cool. Hell ill even bring my crat back to TLM

I have to admit, I don't know much about making twinks. I have twinked characters at all levels, but not for PvP. Jared, if you could answer questions people have about that, it would be great.
I did my first tl7 tower defense yesterday and it turned out very well. We were able to kill the clanners off enough that they stopped coming back. We even managed to anger Bruce enough to log off for the day. :P It was kinda funny. At any rate, I am starting to learn how things go at tl7 for towers and I can't wait to share it with those in TLM that would like to do it. By no means will it ever be mandatory, but I think there are some of you who would find it fun.

every org has their slumps. We will get through this. Taylor will be back in August and will be wanting to play gain and I think that will help quite a bit. I know there are things I need to do that I would love to do with the org, but I just simply don't think I will have the time before I leave to get them done.

yea this sounds like a nice idea, but i wont be playing as much as i used to, this 2 weeks break is nice, and i enjoy not having the stress of playing any more, and the need for items. so good luck with this idea, what wepons did u guys think of using for ur fixers?

Every Org needs a "spark", for a lot of time Ali and Tay provided that spark...it was something that allowed others to respond to and also we could set them off, this created an atmosphere if you could call it that in Org chat.
Events and such like would provided an oppertunity for others to become that "spark", as we do more stuff together then people will develop relationships and bonds will grow, people will feel more at ease with each other and allow their personalities to come through and for the time when we're sitting their thinking that the last oddball comment from a new member was not because they are wierd but because that is just thier personality comming through.
With my new job I don't have as much time and aren't able to play as much as I would like, whenever I am on I will support Levy whenever and however I can.

btw, on 95% of my farm raids anyone 160+ is welcome to join, and i usually ask in org chat, never gotten a 4th person to go on ship thou :\

| I would love to do anything with the org, towers, pvp, or raids. I just havent had a lot of experience with stuff like dust brigade or hi or anything like that. It is difficult for me on my NT right now because I need VP for some good nanos etc but that has never stopped me from doing anything yet. I am willing to help anyone I can! Also some org city raids would be nice. I really enjoy doing that with the org and usually it turns out to be someone farming something. Which I would probably do myself if my NT could defend itself from a rollerrat. Well, a frightened rollerrat anyway.... |

I honestly think, that we could do towers, but still keep our rep as a nice a friendly org.
What makes people hate other org's is when after a fight, they start flaming 1 or the other. If we go at towers with a proffesional "Nothing personal, its just buisness" kinda way, I think it would work out.

yup, as ive just been discussing with jare.. a "all's fair in love and war" mentality should be undertaken if we decide to do towers, after all this is a game and im after the funsies :P

Hm, i had stayed out of the towers discussion for a while but i feel i should add some input. Lets start with a story, in my last org, Insanity-Inc, our towers were being attacked by Lex Talionis, and if you didnt know yet i am EXTREMELY friendly with that org, so naturally i did not go defend because in many ways i liked LT more than II, but II got so angry with me i got kicked from their org.
So my concerns about the same thing happening are still around, especially if you get a tl3 site, as i have a twink in LT.
Do i defend and kill my friends? or let it go and lose my towers? 
PS- I'm not sure but I think there are other people in this situation also? |

Roy, you would kill you friends. If TLM did do towers, we wouldnt be totally hardcore about it, its just for the funsies :P
So its no big deal. And that would only be if we personally attacked your org or a close org of LT or something.
And possibly the towers for twinkin. :P

Towers CAN be respectable. It doesn't always have to be assholes sending hate tells to each side because they attacked some towers.

Aye, as long as you don't take the flaming personally and treat them with respect and all towers should be OK.
As for losing your tower or killing your friend, kill your friend.
It doesn't make you a jerk for killing them, they attacked your turf etc.
And they just rezz afterwards.
As long as no one gets carried away and goes too far, it's all in good fun.
